Frequently asked questions

(305) 930-6702What's the difference between cleaning and polishing a floor?
Cleaning removes dirt and residue. Polishing, used on marble and terrazzo, refines the surface itself to restore shine and remove light etching and scratches.
Which floors should be sealed?
Cement-based grout and natural stone like marble and travertine benefit from sealing. Porcelain tile and finished hardwood generally don't need it.
Can old terrazzo or marble look new again?
Usually, yes. Both are very durable, and polishing can restore much of their original shine for far less than replacing the floor.
